Ingredients
- Paneer: 250 gms
- Powder sugar: 2 tbsps
- Powder milk: 2 tbsps
- Grated lemon rind: ½ tsp
- Flour: 2 tsps
- Butter: 1 tsp
- Pista: 10 nos
- Cherry: 4
- For garnishing: strips of lemon peel
Directions
- Mash the paneer with your fingers.
- Fry the flour upon low heat with the butter for a minute and add to the paneer.
- Add the powder sugar, orange peel and powder milk.
- Soak the pista in warm water and remove the peel.
- Make slices of the pista. Also slice the cherries.
- Take the paneer in a heavy saucepan.
- Cook upon medium heat for 2 minutes.
- Cool and add half of the pista and cherries
- Cover and keep it in the fridge overnight.
- Take out and mash.
- Make desired size balls.
- Garnish with pista and cherries.
- To make more attractive use the long peels.
- Serve with a cup of tea.
- Can also serve as the last course of a meal.
