Ingredients
- Koldil: 1 medium
- Potato: 2 medium
- Onion paste: 1 medium
- Ginger paste: 1 tsp
- Garlic paste: 1 tsp
- Chopped green chillies: 1 tsp
- Cardamom: 4
- Cinnamon: 1 inch long
- Clove: 2
- Mustard oil: 3 tbsps
- Bay leaves: 2
- Paanch phuron: 1/2 level tsp
- Pure ghee: 2 tsps
- Turmeric powder: as required
- Salt: as desired
- Sugar: 1/2 tsp
Directions
- Rub oil lightly to your hand to avoil strain before cutting the koldil.
- Remove the outer layer of the koldil and take the hard and white inner layer.
- Take water in a large bowl. Add turmeric powder and salt.
- Finely chop the koldil and let it fall into the water.
- Remove the threads of the koldil.
- Mash the chopped koldil with your fingers and squeeze.
